Usui Reiki Level 1 is a hands-on healing method that uses the flow of universal "rei" Â lifeforce "ki" energy to open the recipient to receive physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing. It can be used on yourself and given to others. It is wonderful for kids and animals and everyone can learn it. Reiki can also be combined with any other modality and will enhance it. You can use Reiki in counseling, teaching, massage, integrative medicine, or anywhere you are working with people, animals, and even plants.Â
Reiki energy is so gently powerful and is directed by the recipient, not by the practitioner. Every Reiki experience you give or receive will be different. A client once asked me what it feels like to do a Reiki healing - I said: " It feels like the most sacred honour ...and like I have super galactic giant hands". I highly encourage any carer or empath to learn this beautiful skill. Â
